<<< i would have to agree...unf'inbelievble what Greenie pulled off this time. i'm gonna give all the credit to Rubin though. that elimination of the 30 year was fiendishly diabolical. i wish he was a BEAR!!! >>>>

He(Rubin) and AG are both Bears, otherwise they'd both be retired. All the frantic "work" being done behind the curtain is because this "thing" we call a financial system & Economy would complete fall apart without the constant tinkering they do IMO.

BTW, Meeker upgraded YHOO today and said she's more confident in a turnaround. Funny thing, I don't ever remember her losing confidence all the way down from 250 a share. But hey, she expects valuation expansion in something selling at 10 times sales. Cheap stuff. Too bad she won't get a clue and get lost like that clown Blodget finally did. Someday the two of them will be sharing a cup of soup at the local homeless shelter.

Morgan Stanley analyst Mary Meeker on Friday said she is more confident in a turnaround at Yahoo! Inc.

In a research note, Meeker said Yahoo provided a fairly credible strategy for meeting key challenges,
such as revenue diversification and improved ability to increase the revenue it gets from each of its
users. She reiterated her ``outperform'' rating on the stock.

``Yahoo still needs to put more points on the board, but it is scoring,'' Meeker said. ``And we believe
there is valuation upside.''
