Peach, So sorry to hear that. We had our window wells in the basement cave in during a flood four or five years ago.... a foot and a half of mud, water, insects, and god knows what else in the finished basement..... Insurance doesn't cover that stuff unless you separately buy the federal flood insurance (if you can). I hope you didn't lose anything of sentimental value....the other stuff can be replaced.
