Re: Need big tax cuts now: Interesting story the other day about how GE ... which stands to pocket a half-billion under the GOP economic payback plan for Big Business GOP contributors ... intends to close a plant in Philly and put 150 Americans out of work, even though the plant is still highly profitable. Seems that the company can earn even greater profits by moving the work overseas, so it's tough luck that more American workers will be sent to the unemployment line. If anyone thinks that the billions the GOP intends to give Big Business will somehow trickle down to more jobs for Americans ... they're nuts.
