From what I've seen, it depends on how desperate the prospective parents are. Admittedly, I haven't personally tried to adopt, but I've been involved with several families that have. The process is very intricate and frustrating. There are some statistics which show newborns of any race are wanted by white couples. But again, it probably depends on what they've been through. precious.org
