I am an average woman that is so very happy for the women of Afghanistan. This kind of oppression should never be allowed to happen again. I had a long talk with my husband last night about this issue. I would like to talk with the men here about this issue. Do you think that the practice of covering women from head to toe with Burqas should be totally banned from all societies on Earth? Would you ban the Burqa in your town? Do you think that you could live peacefully with a neighbor that believes in the wearing of the Burqa and poligamy? Would you be accepting of women in Burqas as presidents or committee chairwomen of your local PTA? Of women wearing the Burqa teaching your children, as nurses or doctors? If your wives wanted to wear the Burqa, would you support that decision? M
