Phil, I'm back for a while, according to an expert in the field, there are really no decent systems out there right now. There are plenty of them and some operate a 128kbs pretty well. Camelot has been working at this for 20 years and they are filing patents. One problem all face: at current telephone line speed everyones lacking. The FCC may get into the act to regulate the industry, but the demand for compatible systems is out of this world! If and once a truly fully quality product comes along,( all of the ones he has examined, hundreds I dare say are not nearly complete) the pie will be huge and there will be plenty for all. No body has even solved the notifying apparatus (ring ring). If you are not actively on line nobody can get through, there are many more. If camelot is correct, concerning a decent net vidieo, phone (which he seriously doubts) that will operate at 28.8, then they would be worth more than anyone can imagine if it is theirs. Bottom line, let's wait for the demonstration.
