A nice move in the gold COTs as the commercials' net short position was reduced from 35.4k to 23.6k contracts in a period when the POG dropped only $2.50 from $279.50 to $277.00. I would expect that the drop in POG since Tuesday would have reduced their short position even further. cftc.gov
