I'm interested in opinions regarding this move in rates and the causes of inflation. Does this definitely indicate an anticipated surge in demand and a bottom? Data seems to point to continued capacity excess. Continued lay-offs and reduced guidance seem to be keeping pace if not outpacing recent figures. Unless the treasury market is pointing to a recovery, why else would there be inflation? I'd love to know where the money from treasuries is going. For example, if it is moving to corporate debt, what does that mean etc.?
