I'll have to look through my (now very ancient) lecture notes.
As I recall, there were a number of journal papers discussing
things such as option arbitrage, market inefficiencies, etc.
My memory of these papers is that the efficient market
hyopthesis could not be disproven.

Of course no broker or TA advocate in his right mind would tell
you this. Brokerage houses, investment newsletters, etc all have
a vested interest in pumping up TA. They can charge a premium
to you because they have a group doing TA.
