This is an anti-trust case not a popularity contest. If we took a poll for every legal case in front of the court, OJ would be in jail right now. I know M$FT wouldn't like it. However, it would be (IMO) a fair settlement and it would solve the problem. M$FT would still be able to make money selling apps & any conflict-of-interest charges in bundling & product integrations would be laid to rest. They're branching into entertainment & games, fine. They'll make their money where it can be made: using all their supposedly "innovative" skills to produce new software products.
