Flood insurance is pretty expensive....most insurance agencies don't even bother offering it to people for that reason. I've been telling my husband we should get it. He just shakes his head..... I guess it turns out to be cheaper to change carpets once in many years than it is to pay every year. Would it be possible for you to have the carpets ripped off and get wood or tiled floors, at least in areas other than bedrooms ? I hope things are better now...?
