Here is my question in simpler form:
What do you mean when you say "moral"?

Poet,
what happened? didn't you read my post?

i will answer your question again...then i will answer it a third time...then you can answer my questions once..

i spent much of my life learning how to...

1. avoid ambushes.
2. escape from ambushes.

what is the purpose of your question?
what is your definition of moral?
why have you posted about moral so often?

dissect my posts if you like...do not expect me to respond to continuous reworded questions about one subject.

i made my point...then i answered your questions...clearly you do not agree...that is ok...feel free to post an opposing viewpoint.

also feel free to post your own definition of morality...mine is close to...morals as generally accepted by our society.

i do believe that most spiritual persons in our society will aspire to high moral standards...yet, i do not believe that spirituality is a prerequisite to high moral standards.

the answer to that question must ultimately be answered by each individual for him or herself. you said you are a middle-aged American women...do you really need an old soldier to define moral for you?

i find generally accepted American moral mores a quite sufficient definition and self-explanatory don't you? many of these standards are written in law...others are professed by religious beliefs...and others by neighborhood standards...some come from the lands of our fathers and grandfathers.

PS...this is my third answer and what you really wanted to hear...Bill Clinton is an immoral human being. you can lay every friendly casualty of this war at his immoral feet including all of the men, women and children killed in NYC...
but
(this will surprise you)
i am not talking about blowjobs.

there are 2 kinds of sins for leaders...sins of commission and sins of omission.
the first is doing something when the situation demands it and it turns out to be wrong but you regroup and try again.
the latter is doing nothing when the situation demands it and everything gets worse and you continue to do nothing.

the first is forgivable.
the second is negligence of the highest order. clinton is guilty of immoral sins of omission.

there, feel better now?

PS don't forget to answer all of my questions.
