Jim,
I have been following this thread for quite some time. I was really looking to find what good news there was to prevent me from buying AOL Puts (I've got July 65 Put's, selling the Jan 65 Calls ... the deal I told you about the other day ... doing extremely well).

Well I wanted to give you a tremendous pat on the back, not just for hitting the #'s for AOL almost on the nose, but more so for providing sound advice and a caveat against doing some of the short-term out of the money trades, which you're fond of, without low commissions. This was much needed, and well-worded by yourself.

I happen to be in a unique situation as I am with a full-service broker who watches this stuff closely for me when I am at work. However I pay NO COMMISSIONS! I simply pay a quarterly fee equal to about .3% of my portfolio, and I get around 75 free trades a year, any trades over 75 are done with a greater than 40% discount (and he has no Minimum fee to meet after I use up the free trades!!). This is a wonderful deal for me, and if anyone wants the info on it, write me back and I'll post it. (I certainly don't want to be advertising on the thread, so I will only post if someone wants it).
