Not sure where you get this info, but it certainly is inconsistent with the information I have. Here's a quote:

How many B-17's were lost? How many were shot down, vs. other reasons? I presume you have some figures on that.
But, if the firebombing of Dresden had not occurred, that number of B-17s lost in the raids would have been zero.
What was accomplished militarily?
