The meeting is not really that early imo. I would guess that the special part is related to the share transactions/agreements that have occurred in July, Sept and Nov of 2001. Listening to their broadcast it sounded like they were pegging the early months of 2002 as being very busy. As such, imo they are simply trying to get it out of the way to free time when they will really need to focus. From the cynical side, it also takes advantage of the fact that no-one seems to be expecting any good news from anyone in 2001! The full post of the BS news refers to the funding coming from the DSL capital budgeting and Govt financed capital. I assume that those funds were the cause of the RFP entered into by NHC in the summer/fall of 2000.
