Wolf: whilst discussing (off board) the merits of getting in early and taking greater risk (aka investing vv gambling philosophy)
I wrote the following:
< I am having to tell myself not to panic at the thought that REK is prepared to lose it all, in an effort to keep 100% control. The only bright spot (all depending on your definition of optimism!!) is that REK would have to be mad as a hatter if she is gambling on spending money to ramp up for a sales release in Canada and USA . The gamble being that, not having a positive cash flow from existing sales contacts of Pennsaids, she is prepared to finance this ramp up with the proceeds of selling shares at lower and lower prices. For example, what would happen if Acqua is indeed shorting the stock and is prepared to push it down to the $1 or $2 mark? Is that a price at which REK is diluting Dimethaids' equity MORE than if REK had simply gone to a large pharma, to get the faster approval tracks in each of the UK, EU, and USA - thereby restricting the gamble to Canada and self-distribution there in that country? >
I suppose what I was trying to say was, that if I had realized earlier the extent to which she (REK) is prepared to gamble with the dilution of equity, I would have waiting to max out my investment in this baby.
Comments, anyone? Fox.
