Hi Steve, You said, "I love seeing how I'm doing versus folks I've been reading (and reading about) on the net that I thought were much cleverer and more experienced than I...! \;~)" I wouldn't be too quick to judge the ability of many of the contestants because of the results in this quarter. I can think of at least 30 or more, that have a lot of knowledge when it comes to picking stocks, and no one could foresee some of the factors that have led to this situation in the market As they say, don't throw the baby out with the bath water. There are still a lot of people with good sound judgement. You said "My stocks are basically "in irons", being sucked back by the current of the small cap market, and as such most of them will actually be good candidates for Q3 picks." This could probably be said about most of the Q2 contestants stocks, Steve. I think almost everyone has been affected to some degree by this market. .There will always be some who are more clever than ourselves, and some who are lesser, but being smug flatters no one.
