Consider the possibilities, with all the helos in country.

I have to admit that that sounds good. Along with the, uh, native herbs in the country, the new Confederacy of Afghanistan could offer quite the attraction to the international shredder set.

(But then that would require a certain entrepreneurial spirit that has been dormant these last 5 or 6 years, though I understand that the kite merchants in Kabul have been doing a fair business as of late.)

As for the Ukraine, I wasn't aware of much of a turkey market when I was there, but I did have a nice glowing Chicken Kiev whilst covering the Chernobyl incident about 15 years ago. Hmm, and it was *hot.*

Off to see the meteors in downtown PDX.
