Header post has been updated with latest figures.

This is the first time I have reviewed the weightings and earnings for all 60 stocks in the table since Sep 10.

Three things struck me:

1) The current year earnings for most stocks had been revised down.

2) Future earnings (i.e. past Jan 02) had not in the main been revised, except for semi equip stocks. This means that analysts are expecting Sep 11 to have no impact in the 12 - 18 mths timeframe. Alternatively, they are expecting any stimulus measures to completely cancel out the impact.

3) Based on my own judgements, future earnings are very optimistic. However, I have kept my opinions out of the calculations. It will be interesting to compare today's version of the table to the reality of earnings 12 months from now.
