Whatever Talibaans did to the civilians doesn't justify mass murders....i guess I'm with Gandhi on this one...

An eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth achieves nothing and leaves the whole world blind and toothless.

Afghani part of the Talibaan, they say, was easy to beat. They were tired of the war and surrensered easily, and they were forgiven by their 'brethren'. The 'foreign jehadi's', however, had a misplaced cause, these were the people who made it so difficult for everyone, and continue to do so even now. I guess they belong in jail, without parole, without ever getting a shot at freedom. And the countries they come from, should either be made to disown them by striping them of their citizenship, or their countries should be held accountable for the acts of their citizens.

Killing them, however, tends not only to remove evidence of foul play by terrorist countries, it tends to demean us who won the war. Retribution can never be an emotion of a civilized society. Rampant killings validate and reinforce their beliefs that we are 'evil'.

Thats my view. I'm no Gandhi, but I can see how Gandhi turned all that inter-religious hatred into love, even if it was transient and temporary.....
