David II:
Cancer is not really in my family. No one closely related to me, in my family, had ever had cancer. Suprisingly, a relative of mine developed cancer, and the doctor's blamed it on the hormones she was given in her late 50's. The hormones have now been put on the cancer causing list. But after the fact, she went though chemo. She has been cancer free for almost five years. I was not nearby to watch, but she was not ill for one day, even after chemo. A lot of prayers were with her, and she can tell you that God was with her. She will also say to make sure you pace yourself and eat right, and sleep well. e anxious for nothing (God said that)and do not worry. She was a great role model to everyone in the family.
A book that she read that meant a lot, besides her Bible, is by David Jeremiah, "A Bump in the Road." He is a cancer survivor and a pastor.
You are very brave, and I am sure many prayers go with you. Rest in Him.
