Genta has been a great trading stock. It has enough volume and regular price fluctuation at a low enough price to do profitable trades almost on a weekly basis.

I've been following them for quite some time. In terms of fundamentals, Genta hasn't made any revenue from products that I'm aware of. They have a lot of PhD's on board, and promising antisense and drug delivery technology.

What they need is money. They have enough money to last through Sept 96. The previously mentioned National Cancer Institute sponsorship is a step in the right direction. I think they still need a corporate sponsor to come up with some big $$$ though. If and when that happens the stock could easily move into the $3 range.

In the meantime, buy at 1 1/2 - 1 3/4 and sell at 1 7/8 - 2. I just bought yet another block at 1 1/2 today. This is the lowest I've gotten in at in 6 months of trading GNTA. Sold a block last Wednesday at $2.
