If they are calling other people names and telling hateful jokes, then I would agree with you. Or if they are passing laws aimed at banning free speech (which some very fringe people on the left do try to do, as do people on the fringes of the right. And just as a lot of people are trying to subvert the justice system right now, using the excuse of exigency), then I would agree with you. But I don't find a lot of that among people who really preach tolerance. Maybe you are tuning in to a strange fringe element. You may be cutting yourself off from the people who are really tolerant, and some of those people are really nice. Of course they don't start threads looking to label people, so you won't meet any of them here:

But if you really try, you might overcome your (apparent) prejudice of people who are tolerant. If you want to. You may not want to. Which is fine.
