The trend very much shows that the Asians, specifically, the Koreans in the form of Samsung, are coming.

Samsung has the goodies: Color screeens, 1x, a GSM presence, and margins that everyone but Nokia would envy.

The battle for handset dominance is going to be waged between Nokia and Samsung in the next ten years. Samsung executes technologically much better than Nokia while Nokia is a master marketer.

It will be a very interesting battle to see.
