Since it's bookings (not BTB) that I pay attention to, it shouldn't make any difference to me. But it will definitely cause confusion for a while (next 6 months or so) as everyone restates all their numbers. Now, in addition to having earnings stated in several different ways, we now have sales stated (and then, restated) in different numbers. Ugghhh. I wish everyone would just quit fiddling with accounting methods, it makes apples-to-apples comparisons very hard, even comparing the same company's numbers with themself a year earlier.
