Well, X, I know that space and time are real (if I am wrong about that, than all bets are off). If we can measure the distance from earth to Jupiter, and verify it by sending a space probe there, then there is such as thing as space, and if there is, it either ends somewhere or it doesn't. So that doesn't seem very metaphysical.
Anyway, I am probably boring everybody. I wasn't really calling you ignorant, at least no more so than I am. My point was simply that when neither of us can answer the most fundamental questions about our existence, we ought not to be too cavalier in dismissing anyone else's explanations. Laughing at ourselves is a healthy thing to do, and I'm glad to know that you indulge in it, too.
