"--I agree that those parades set a poor example, but so does so much heterosexual smut I see...everywhere. At the top of my street once there was a billboard of a half naked woman selling some, I don't know, perfume perhaps. My local convenience store has half his magazine display devoted to pornography.

I don't want to seem to be promoting gays in the scouts, I'm not. But I work with many gay people, and I honestly can't rank gay people one way or another with heterosexual people in terms of morality. I see jerks, that are both gay and not gay. But for the most part, my experience working with gay people, has been a good one, in terms of work done and honesty. I know many gays that suffer much angst with their families for being gay, but they feel they have no choice in the matter.
