Most people simply go buy the better product.>> maybe i will but i would much rather buy a machine with linux on it that will have constant upgrades for free or a very minimal charges and star office for the same reason. get my point. ibm used to give away the software if you bought their hardware. we are going in a complete cirle. lastly, most people when they have bad experiences with something (i.e., except for the opposite sex) don't go back to repeat the same mistakes. this is going to be one of msft's greatest hurdles and i think downfalls. rocky.
