I don't see how Osama could be considered a coward. He seems very brave to me. He could have lived a life of comfort and privilege like the rest of his family, but chose another much more dangerous path. So although Osama is many things, I don't see how he is a coward.

I don't see how Alec is a coward either. He had the courage to say some very unpopular things, and to express opinions that were bound to alienate people. I'm sure there are lots of other people who felt that way, but who said nothing. I can think of many other ways to categorize Alex's actions but I would not call them cowardly myself.

You may think Osama is whatever you like. It probably doesn't help you think more clearly to label him like that. I find good solutions are more difficult to find when you box yourself in with labels.
