Bruce, I've seen too many like him to have that sort of confidence. Many of my colleagues during the "Me" 80s blast off in the market made huge money, but the spending binges and the debts they racked up were larger. After the 87 mini-crash, many of them fell on really hard times. There was one portfolio manager who was on my peer list (we ranked 15 peers to compare rankings for bonus purposes) who was working at a dry cleaners the last time I heard from him. And I have respect for the guy. At least he got a job of some sort.

I guess we should hope that Henry doesn't land a job working with chemicals such as the former portfolio manager who was on your peer list. Henry could hurt himself or others in such an environment. <g>
