The Class A standard verifies the disinfection performance of UV systems. In addition to providing customers with unparalleled assurance of performance, the NSF certification is expected to allow Trojan to increase distribution into markets where regulations have imposed strict standards on the required performance of residential UV systems. "We were impressed with the depth and rigour of the certification process, and are very pleased to have met all the requirements. We believe this certification will validate our product leadership and allow us to increase sales in markets requiring NSF certification" said Doug Alexander, executive vice-president of Trojan Technologies. "The TrojanUVMax Pro Series retails at approximately $1,000 (U.S.) and is available through our water treatment dealer and wholesale distribution channels in the United States and Canada. We intend to launch a number of promotional efforts, including direct contact with state/provincial regulators."
