You are just so NOT understanding this.

The analogy that fits is military.

I guess you would really really like it if Osama was a coward. I'm not sure why. You can see him anyway you like. He has set terrible things in motion. He has trained young men from all over the world to do terrible things. He is most certainly still plotting terrible things. But I cannot see that his actions are the actions of a coward. He placed himself in harms way on purpose. He wanted to be in harms way. He does not step out to be shot, no sane person would, and alas Osama is sane enough to want to protect himself, so that he can continue to fight us.

I don't know what drives you to compare a man who is basically the CEO of terror incorporated with a school yard bully, but it doesn't work for me.
