Just my opinion, but I think the run over the past few days was fueled by momentum traders and short-term traders who hopped on board when they saw the volume spike due to the institutional shares being sold. Almost immediately, you started seeing buyout rumors on the Yahoo thread to fuel the fury. If there is no other underlying reason for the run-up, it'll be settling back down as the traders counting on big news start pulling out.
