As you may have gathered, I don't trust it either, based on my own contrary indicators, but the pervasive skepticism may be a point in the rally's favor. Generally, most people are wrong about the future direction of the market. And the more certain they are, the more wrong they are. Good analysts, such as Hal and his pal Larry, don't make predictions -- or more to the point, good traders.
