Yes, they would. And do. This is easily proved.

Assume this hypothetical: You, as a scientist, conduct a study that absolutely meets or exceeds all accepted standards of scientific research. Your methodology is above reproach in every way. The conclusion of your study is that intelligence is racially determined. Specifically, you find that blacks are inferior to whites in cognitive ability. Do you believe that any reputable scientific journal in the United States, or Great Britain, would accept and publish the results of your research?

I rest my case.
