Finally, this stock is heading back down to Earth. Honestly, it has continued to amaze me, but the hype/momentum driving this stock up recently has been far worse than the weeks just prior to the crash from $47 a couple of years ago. Watch out. Avid isn't exactly selling zip drives, or even BMWs. As I have been saying for some time, their bread-and-butter systems are directed at a maturing niche market that is very different than it was 4 years ago when Avid was burning up the industry with almost all of the early sales of nonlinear editing systems.
