And JLA, one shouldn't be able to do that. To just tell a hit and run untruth about somebody (somebody who has tried almost desperately to escape from any contact with you) and take no responsibility for it.

Why don't you tell him that? He should simply substantiate or retract and apologize, shouldn't he? Isn't that fair?
