You've jumped to an erroneous conclusion. I am by no means advocating trading. The type of imbalance I try to exploit is the market's tendency to discount all competitive advantages as short lived aberrations. The approach I have adopted is to identify enterprises with sustainable competitive advantages and invest in them for the long term. Imo, Qualcomm is a great example.
