I'm no expert on military law, but I believe we should be MORE careful when trying foreign suspects, not LESS. Certainly, we would like our citizens to be treated with kid gloves when they are accused of crimes while traveling in foreign countries. I've never been in a Mexican prison but I hear they're unpleasant.

We would go ballistic if our citizens, while traveling abroad, were tried by secret military tribunals for mere SUSPICION of ASSOCIATION with somebody else's enemies.
