You are claiming the right to hit Poet with a falsehood, and run, and then change the subject.
If she did "cast any aspersion on our 'young men,' such as your son," you can substantiate it. Not only did she NEVER do such a thing, she has never even expressed any opposition to our military response to the terrorist acts of September 11.
If your answer is Yes to the question "Poet never cast any aspersion whatever on our "young men," such as your son, did she?", then Christopher, you are hereby challenged once again to produce a single post substantiating that claim.
What kind of person would do what you have done to Poet? That vicious personal post.
Then insisting on posting to her, and about her, against her desires, actually going so far as to wave the possibility of an expensive lawsuit (bg!) in the face of SI so you can resume posting toandabout her.
Then creating a fantasy scenario in which she is a low character who casts aspersions on "our young men," and you (understandably, your son having been so derided by Poet!) rally nobly to the defense of our brave, demeaned young men, thus "starting all this," (or some such terminology.)
A fiction.
And when its fictional nature is pointed out to you, and it is pointed out to you that POET NEVER CAST ASPERSIONS ON OUR YOUNG MEN, AND SUPPORTS OUR MILITARY ACTIONS IN AFGHANISTAN, AND HAS NOT SAID OTHERWISE IN ANY POST, your reaction is to say
"Move on,"
but never to substantiate.
Because you can't.
Because she never did it.
