Makes perfect sense. This is not some obscure x as in 'x=x', this is gold, as in gold=gold, 'the ultimate form of payment in the world', the standard against which all else is valued, the standard whose own value stems largely from its inherent immovable irresistible stability, being always equal to itself, i.e. gold=gold

Therefore, since this thread seems to concern itself with the relative value of US dollars as compared with the standard, i respectfully request that its name be changed to 'Fiat Currencies Price Monitor'
