Mr. Lee, the Qur'an was compiled as a complete book after the Prophet (pbuh) died... however, all the verses of Qur'an were revealed to him while he was alive... so, the verses that have been replaced by better ones or forgotten, have been replaced by God while the Prophet (pbuh) was still alive... if one believes that Qur'an is the word of God, would one then be able to replace or modify any of it ? Not in Islam. hope that clarifies it for you regards amein
