First allow me to say that I am very pleased to hear from you. Your
were absent for sometimes!
I couldn't agree more with Paul. I think AMD will have some very serious problems in Germany. Within the European communty there are
labor laws that gives US manufactuerers hear-attack. 6 hours working
days,5 workind days that may become 4 very soon, lack of ablity
to fire or lay-off employees, excessive cost of labour,(for every
1 dollar in sallary you will pay 2 to the govenment as contribution,
etc, etc. Today, Germans are manufactuering in Italy, Spain, and Greece becasue they can't efford to manucatuer in Germany.
In my line of business, I manufacture over 70% for German frims, that
don't wink to pay the price asked becasue they know that I know that
we are cheap. Good luck to FAB in Germany!
