Donnie...is market open all day, or half a day friday?
I would think alot of folks on vacation, friday should be pretty flat, unless a major news event happens....would you agree with that assesement? And then where do we go next week....bin laden is one helluva wild card that could cause a massive run-up or sell off, depending on whether we roasted him, or he pulls off another terrorist attack......hope everybody has a great thanksgiving...I am fighting off the flu bug and am hoping I feel better tomorrow as turkey and all the fixins is always my favorite meal of the year...plus getting together with family and friends......this year..regardless of the market, I think we all have alot to be thankful for......seeing how folks live in other parts of the world, just makes me realize just how lucky we all are.....I mean, as a rockclimber, I have no problem sleeping out in the cold in a cave for a week or so....but I sure wouldnt want to live that way and have to walk 3 miles to get semi-clean<ggg> water.....sometimes It takes an unfortunate event like sept 11 to open our eyes and make us see just how good the american way of life is....as screwed up as this country is, it is still the greatest country on earth, and for that, I am thankful.....I couldnt imagine raising my kids to be suicide bombers....attornies, dr's, heck even a mcdonalds fry cook....but not a freakin suicide bomber...how can any parent think that is a good thing for their child to do.....simply amazing.......anyway....happy gobble gobble day to one and all.... |
