BG - Surely there must be some extraordinarily powerful reasons for Cingulars decsion. Simply if what we all here believe the undoubted performance of 1X and its decedants then it seems to me that Cingular is on a path to exinction as a serious competitor. How on earth could they have decided to commit themselves to a system that hasn't even got a good selection of handsets. Remember how there were moans out of Korea earlier this year about the lack of choice of 1X handsets ...well at there thre were quite a few, but to commit a major US company to a system where forget about its speed being less than 1X nevere mind DO but with no handsets.....I just keep asking myself what on earth are they basing this decsion on? I mean unless thre is some unk unk out there that PCS and VZ doen't know about and that Q doesn't know about then sadly I view Cingulars decision as positive for the Q indeed it amy be one of the most positive factors we have yet seen.
