Hi Len. I was in this industry for many years, but it's now becoming several years since I left. I haven't been actively following Biomet, lately. No mention of whether the two total knee replacements were products from one company. It's more likely to have repercussions for the drape and general supply manufacturers, which from memory only (and it's a poor memory) would be somebody like 3M or J&J or American Hospital Supplies, if they're still around.
