Richard,
I know what you mean about getting BS from management. Over the years
I have found that better information can be obtained from the office
and plant workers or the shipping department. They know when they are
busy and business is good. I have a friend who has a vending machine
route.He has given me some great stock tips by asking people at the
companies he services "How's business?" Another great source is to
talk to people who sell office supplies, cans, boxes, insurance, etc.
to these companies. Another good source is to watch the want adds in the
newspapers. When small companies like FRSH are hiring, business is
good and higher profits usually follow.
