yam's, berries & nuts and "BORN TO LOSE" ?

...an article that all good lil' chihuahua's should read & take to heart.

pimco.com

PS: ...was it Iso, or Bill Gross who first pounded the table that dividends do matter (vbg) ?

...and as we give thanks tomorrow; stop and pause for a moment...remembering where we were just 10-12 short months ago.

"Some" thought we were entering a new paradigm/multi-year Oilpatch expansion cycle.

Nat Gas was hotter than a Cisco router & who needed biotech when we had Enron ?

Growth stocks ? ...who needed fiber optics ? - we had KEG, NBR & RIG.

California was going to collapse and Natural Gas was at $10 and going higher with a bullet.

...but less than a year later... new-age darling Enron has collapsed, Crude & Nat Gas have fallen back to earth and Oilpatch stocks have been halved, or worse all across the board.

Less than 10-12 months ago; no one would believe that Oilpatch stocks would be where they are found today.

And something tells me that less than 10-12 months from today, that Bill Gross's comments will come home to roost and that market valuations will return to historic multiples of "real" earnings and that next Thanksgiving I'll be taunting the chihuahua's with another tale of the tape concerning Gold & Silver's rise and a whodathunkit take on the continuing valuation contraction in the broad market.

Enjoy those yam's, berries & nuts ~
