look thomas, i just don't like chomsky because he's such a nerd, and he's wrong about some things. he makes some interesting points i'm sure.

i liked the freedom fighters in nicaragua - commander zero and all of that. in soldier of fortune there was a picture of latin-american freedom fighters in a machinegun post, surrounded by crucifixes. i figured that they must have been very fanatical. i like fanatical troops; i don't care what country they're from!!

i work with some el salvadoreans. i'm trying to figure out how to get the 'straight stuff' from them about the war. they don't speak such good english though. i need to learn spanish. i've already tried asking one of them about communist catholic priests and whatnot but he didn't seem to know.

i met a korean kid once who had lived next door to somoza in nicaragua. he said he was there when a rocket attack killed somoza. he didn't seem to care much for somoza.

at some point i quit trying to keep up with which ones were the 'good' or 'bad' guys though.

so here's what i think of chomsky in a nutshell: he points out some of the 'problems' fairly well, but i simply don't like his 'solutions.'
