Carolyn,

I run Windows 98, and have both Netscape 4.76 and IE 6. Had no problem with your music in Netscape, but it was not working in IE 6. I have it working now, and I'm 99+% sure this is how I did it:

It seems media player has to be enabled for MIDI files. My IE6 invokes mplayer2.exe to play media files. If you find that file, double click on it. Navigate View => Options and select the Formats tab; check the box that says MIDI file, and OK out of the window and close the player. Next time you refresh your profile or anyone else's with a MIDI sound file you should hear it.

Not sure what to do if you have another version of Media Player, but it is probably similar. I have Real Player on my machine and it needed to activate some plugin to play the midi files too.

So how does one find out how to post images and sound files to their profile?

Dan
